Electric Boogie is a live music production company in Auckland, built by people who are equal parts artists and technicians. We cover the full chain a band needs to sound and look right on the night: mainstage audio, backline, lighting and technical direction, planned around the rider and run by the same crew who designed the show.
We own a rider-specific inventory put together for live performance, not a general hire pool, so what arrives at load-in is the kit the set actually calls for. From a single support slot to a touring headline run, we read the plot, set the stage, mix front of house and monitors, and keep the show on its feet from soundcheck to pack-out.
We work out of a workshop in Massey, West Auckland, by appointment. We know the rooms, we know how to talk to a band, and we turn up ready to make the show happen rather than reinvent it.

- Touring support across Auckland and nationwide for runs and festivals
- CAD and pre-visualisation so the plot is agreed before we build
- One crew from plan to performance, so nothing gets lost in the handover

Common questions
- Do you cover both front of house and monitors?
- Yes. We supply and mix both, with engineers on FOH and monitors so the room and the stage are looked after at the same time. For touring acts carrying their own engineer, we run the system and crew it underneath them.
- Can you provide backline as well as audio and lighting?
- Yes. Backline supply, setup and line checks are part of what we do, matched to the rider. We tune and test everything before doors so the band walks onto a stage that is ready to play.
- Do you tour with artists outside Auckland?
- We do. We are based in Massey, West Auckland, and serve the wider Auckland region, Waikato, Hamilton, Tauranga and Wellington, plus nationwide for touring runs and festivals.
- Will the people who plan the show also run it on the night?
- Yes. We design and run with the same crew, so the people who built the plot and the patch are the ones on the desks and the deck during the set. Nothing is handed to a stranger at load-in.
