Festival production company in Auckland: multi-stage site builds, end to end

Electric Boogie is a festival production company working out of West Auckland and across New Zealand. We build multi-stage festival sites as one integrated job: site mapping and planning, temporary power, staging, and audio and lighting across every zone, designed and run by the same crew. No handoffs between a planner who drew the site and a crew who never saw it. We do both.

Festival infrastructure lives or dies on what happens before the gates open. We start with the site itself: where the stages sit, how the power feeds reach them, how load-in and pack-out flow without one stage choking another. From there we plot audio and lighting zone by zone, so the main stage, a second stage and the smaller spaces each get a rig that suits them rather than a compromise stretched across the lot. It all gets drawn, pre-visualised and pressure-tested in CAD before a single truck is loaded.

We are equal parts artists and technicians, and we own a rider-specific inventory built for live music. That matters at festival scale, where stage after stage of incoming acts arrive with their own riders and their own expectations. We tour nationwide, so a Hamilton, Tauranga or Wellington site is the same crew and the same standard as an Auckland one.

What we run

  • Site mapping and planning: stage placement, load-in and pack-out flow, zone layout
  • Temporary power: distribution and feeds sized to the whole site, not one stage at a time
  • Staging across the site, including stage facade and dress work
  • Audio across every zone, from main stage PA to smaller spaces
  • Lighting and rigging zone by zone, with ground support and truss where needed
  • CAD and pre-visualisation so the plot is proven before load-in
  • Technical direction and one crew running the whole build
  • Nationwide and touring delivery: Waikato, Tauranga, Wellington and beyond

Who it is for

For festival organisers and promoters who need a multi-stage site built and run as one integrated job, in Auckland or anywhere in New Zealand.

Common questions

Can you handle a multi-stage festival as a single build?
Yes. Site planning, temporary power, staging, audio and lighting across every zone are designed and delivered by one crew as one integrated job, so the stages, power and load-in flow are planned together rather than bolted on.
Do you cover the whole site or just one stage?
The whole site. We map stage placement, power distribution and load-in and pack-out flow first, then plot audio and lighting zone by zone so the main stage and the smaller spaces each get a rig that suits them.
Will you travel outside Auckland for a festival?
Yes. We are based in West Auckland and serve the wider region, and we tour nationwide. Waikato, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and festival sites further afield get the same crew and the same standard.
How do you reduce surprises on site?
We draw and pre-visualise the build in CAD and pressure-test the plot before anything is loaded. Site flow, power feeds and each zone's rig are worked out on the plan, so load-in runs to a known sequence rather than being solved in the field.
