Electric Boogie does stage and lighting hire across Auckland for live music and events: staging, truss, ground support, moving heads and conventional fixtures, control, plots and temporary power. We own a rider-specific inventory built for live music, and the crew who design the show are the same crew who rig it and run it on the night.

Lighting starts with the plot, not the truck. We design the rig to the room and the act: fixture choice, hang positions, colour and movement, and a control setup an operator can actually run live. We work in CAD and pre-visualisation so the design is resolved before load-in, then we build it, focus it and operate it. Staging is engineered to be safe and level under load, with the right deck heights, edges and access for the crew and the artists who have to work on it.

We cover indoor and outdoor. Outdoor sites bring their own questions: ground support and truss instead of fixed rigging points, weather exposure, site planning and temporary power sized to the rig. We handle that end to end so you are not stitching together three suppliers. Based at our Massey workshop in West Auckland by appointment, we serve Auckland CBD, the North Shore, West, South and East Auckland, plus Waikato, Hamilton, Tauranga and Wellington, and nationwide for touring and festivals.

Common questions

Do you cover both indoor and outdoor events?
Yes. Indoors we work to the venue and its rigging points. Outdoors we bring ground support and truss instead of fixed points, plan the site, and size temporary power to the rig. Either way the same crew design and run it.
Can you design the lighting, or do I need to supply a plot?
