Vintage keyboard hire in AucklandRhodes, Wurlitzer, Minimoog and Moog
When you go looking to hire vintage keyboards in Auckland, you usually want the real thing: a Fender Rhodes with the bark still in it, a Wurlitzer that growls, a Minimoog that sits under a mix like nothing since. We own these instruments and hire them out, kept in gigging condition and prepped before they leave the workshop, not sourced in from somewhere else once you ask.
Our vintage keyboard hire covers the electric pianos and analogue synths that define a sound: a Fender Rhodes MK1, a Wurlitzer 200a, a Minimoog Model D, and the Moog Little Phatty and Subsequent 37 for fat analogue bass and lead. Add a Motion Sound rotary speaker for the Leslie swirl on organ and keys, along with the stands, benches and pedals that go with them.
Hire them dry from our Massey workshop when you have your own crew, or have them delivered, positioned and line-checked to the rider across Auckland, with touring and festival cover nationwide. These are working instruments with real character and the odd quirk, so the crew who look after them can be on hand to keep them singing through the show. If you want a modern stage keyboard in the same rig, we also hold Nord and Korg.

Common questions
- Which vintage keyboards can I hire?
- A Fender Rhodes MK1 and a Wurlitzer 200a electric piano, a Minimoog Model D, and the Moog Little Phatty and Subsequent 37 analogue synths, plus Motion Sound rotary Leslie speakers for organ and keys. If you also want a modern stage keyboard, we hold Nord and Korg Kronos. The full list is on our backline inventory.
- Are the instruments maintained and gig-ready?
- Yes. These are working instruments we run on real shows, not display pieces. Each one is prepped and checked before it leaves the Massey workshop, and the crew who maintain them can be on hand to keep them right through the show.
- Can you deliver and set them up?
- Yes. Hire dry from Massey when you have your own crew, or have the keys delivered, positioned, stood and line-checked to the rider across Auckland, with touring and festival cover nationwide. Reach us on 021 251 2574 or hire@electricboogie.co.nz.
- Do you supply stands, benches and pedals?
- Yes. Single and dual-tier keyboard stands, a piano bench, and sustain, triple, expression and volume pedals to match the instrument, so the rig arrives complete rather than as a bare keyboard on the floor.
